The Story Behind Izzy's Ice Cream
At just 18 years old, Izzy Talbot turned her dream of owning a business into reality with the launch of Izzy's Ice Cream.
While many young people were deciding on their next steps after school, Izzy chose to take a leap of faith and pursue her passion for entrepreneurship. With a vision of creating a fun, welcoming experience centred around delicious real fruit ice cream, she set out to build something special for the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty community.
From researching suppliers and designing the iconic pink trailer to attending events and serving customers, Izzy has been hands-on every step of the journey. Her dedication, creativity, and commitment to customer service have helped turn a simple idea into a growing local business.
Today, Izzy's Ice Cream can be found at weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, school fundraisers, community events, and private functions throughout Rotorua and the Bay of Plenty.
For Izzy, it's about more than just serving ice cream. It's about creating memorable moments, supporting local communities, and inspiring other young people to chase their goals and believe in themselves.
